Eiger

Heating, Cooling & Humidification Tower

The Eiger tower is designed to be the solution in providing a controlled environment for a manufacturing process room.

Temperature and humidity controlled air is delivered into the space to ensure that the ideal condition is achieved and delivered to the manufacturing process maximising production in its optimum environment.

 

Heating, cooling, humidity, air movement, air filtration and fresh air are all delivered by this single easy to install unit which is positioned in the space delivering the air to the process via fabric duct. Air is returned via the Eiger’s returned air grill where is it mixed with fresh air, conditioned and delivered into the space. Close control is provided by internal air sensors and the state of the art controller which can be set by the operator to the desired conditions.

 

Designed with Digital print studio’s in mind the cooling removes the heat generated by the Digital print machine (max 12Kw) and then adds the humidity required to overcome low ambient moisture content and the moisture removed by the cooling process. This ensures that the room is kept at a stable 22C +/- 3C, 50%rh +/- 10%rh ensuring that the digital print machine is at its optimum recommended climatic condition to ensure maximum machine speeds and quality of print leading to maximum profits.  Additionally paper is kept at a stable condition reducing paper curl and ensuring dimensional stability whilst also eliminating static.

 

Installation is straight forward with the unit mounted on casters the Eiger is simply wheeled into position, connected to the services and connected to the external air conditioning condenser unit.
Fabric ducting can be connected to the air outlet spigot and positioned to provide good air distribution in the space and around the printer.

HomEvap Cooler

HomEvap Cooler

The HomEvap cooler unit cools the outgoing extract air
by means of evaporating water held in the airflow by the cooler’s matrix. This evaporation process of changing water to humid air creates what is known as adiabatic cooling. This cooled air then transfers this lower temperature air
to the incoming air via the heat exchanger which cools the supply air.

Incredibly we can achieve 2kw of cooling for 20 watts of energy usage.

HomEvap direct does not require connection to a heat recovery unit. The system is stand alone and can be discreetly positioned above a ceiling or in a cupboard. Using a low energy, quiet fan it allows the efficient spread of cooled air with humidity control through the work place or home. Ideal

for spot cooling / humidity control or to make the whole environment more comfortable.

Advantages: Low energy cooling and humidity control with discrete installation. Virtually silent with wireless control makes retro fitting straight forward.

HomEvap Humidifier

HomEvap Humidifier

The HomEvap Humidifier is a safe and energy-efficient humidifier, using the natural process of water evaporation to add water vapour to the incoming air. The humidifier is positioned after the heat recovery unit (HRU) which warms up the incoming air resulting in low relative humidity. This air passes through the HomEvap controlling the humidity. A built-in heater can warm the air to overcome the cooling effect if required. A Legiosafe® water filter is fitted as standard to guarantee healthy and safe operation.

Reverse Osmosis Systems

Supplied to operate with the humidifiers – specifically designed to provide the duty required in a safe and efficient manner.

The sequence to produce fully treated water is to pass the mains water through a water softener to remove the hard calcium and to replace it with sodium – this helps to prevent hard scale from blocking the reverse osmosis membranes. Carbon filters would then remove the chlorine from the water – chlorine ‘eats’ the membrane which reduces the membrane lift significantly.

Reverse osmosis then removes the minerals from the water which prevents a steam humidifier from scaling up and an adiabatic humidifier from generating mineral duct or from blocking up nozzles.

An Ultravoilet sterilizer in the case of the adiabatic system would ensure that the water serving the humidifier is bacteria free.

Water management in accordance with L8 and approved codes of practice is still required to ensure water hygiene.

Yoga Studio Heater/Humidifer

The Humidity Solutions Vesuvius was purposely designed to provide the ideal Hot Yoga environment.

Constant air flow ensures low acoustic impact in the studio with silent heater operation and pure steam humidity added to create a comfortable environment.  Conditioned air is added via ductwork to suit the studio look – funky fabric or sterile stainless steel.

Fresh air can be introduced via the Vesusius system to conform with building regulations with the option of a heat recovery unit to ensure high energy efficiency. Filtration eliminates odours with an essence pump adding your desired fragrance to the supply air. Built in controls ensure that all the components needed to provide the perfect studio atmosphere work seamlessly together with programmable timer and auto start/stop shown on a straight forward operator interface control panel.
